Origin
Santa's Claws are the elite enforcers at the North Pole.
Santa created his Claws after an incident with some explorers looking to kill
Santa and destroy the Workshop. They attacked, leaving several elves and
reindeer dead. Santa and Mrs. Claus eventually took out the explorers.
The Claws are recruited by Santa, usually homeless or
people with no families from across the world. After they agree, Santa wipes
their memories of their lives before. It may sound cruel, but he only does this
after they agree to the terms of being one of his Claws. Santa them gifts them
with the Powers of the North, knowledge of combat, and adapts their bodies to
the harsh conditions of the North Pole. Their suits use the same colors as the
elves, as to not scare them. They can be from any country or ethnicity. Their
duties are to protect the elves, reindeer, and Workshop. Friendly wanderers are
lured into the wrong directions, while those looking to do harm usually turn the
snow and ice red. They are the best on the entire planet, surpassing even the
military special forces, but they are not immortal. Their numbers usually sit
between 5 to 10 Claws. During wartime, Santa recruits more Claws in case anyone
attempts to set up base at the North Pole.
The Claws spend a lot of time with the elves and
reindeer, not only as protectors, but as friends, and usually become attached,
and grieve when one dies. They are extremely devoted to the citizens of the
Workshop.
