Origin/History

Camran is a high school student. He loves to hike in the mountains near his home. On one of his hikes he found a cave and explored it. Inside, he found an old metal box. he opened the box. As the hinged lid fell back, a hologram of an alien being appeared. It told him of another dimension where the Mons live and how his people had accidentally let them loose in this dimension. It also told him of the device, in the bottom of the box, and how to use it. It also tells him of his mission to return all of the Mons back to their home dimension.

Ghost Tiger (Open Source)

Real Name: George Timball

Origin/History

George is a local policeman and former military serviceman. He served during WWII. Upon returning home, he became a policeman. On a certain day, he came across a robbery at a local Chinese gift store. He entered, and, after a short confrontation, he subdued the thief. To show his appreciation, the Chinese man, Leung Mong, gave him a ring. It is not known if Leung knew the ring bestowed power.

Once home, George remembered the ring in his pocket and placed it on his finger. A wash of emotions and thoughts and feelings and pain overtook him. During this ordeal of bestowal, a voice speaking a form of Chinese began to tell him of the power of the ring, and somehow, George understood. When the event ended, George passed out for the night. 

The next morning, George awoke feeling better than he had before the war. He went on duty. During his day, he had chased criminals through the city. During these chases, a few of his powers manifested themselves. Once off duty, he returned to the store where he received the ring, only it was not there. According to the owner of the shop that was there, there was never a Chinese store there as his store had been there for twenty years.

At home, George was overcome with confusion, and he stares at the ring on his finger. All of a sudden, an older Chinese man appears in a ghostly form before George. He explains what the ring does and tells George that he must meditate daily to unlock and master the ring's power. He also says that the power can be used for good or evil, the choice belongs to George.

George begins to meditate daily, slowly over time unlocking new abilities. He also bought a farm outside of town so he could practice his new powers. He discovers that he has the abilities of a ghost and is able to equal or better anyone in combat. So, after a few encounters on duty, using his powers secretly, George decides to don a costume and fight crime off-duty as a super hero. He chooses a tiger for the base of his alter ego, as its symbol is on the ring. Couple that with his ghost-like abilities, and he called himself Ghost Tiger.

Spideress (Open Source)

Real Name: Shanyn Raynes

Aliases: Spider Queen (II)

Origin/History 
Shanyn was digging around in her family's attic when she found a box with a costume, the “spider‐web fluid” formula and the set of bracelets her great-grandmother, Shannon Kane, invented. With these items were some news clippings of the Spider Queen. She took the items.

She made the formula and cleaned the bracelets to test if they still worked. Fortunately, they did still worked. She loaded them up an started practicing with them. She also began studying martial arts and gymnastics. After months of training, she decided to don the costume and fight crime as the second Spider Queen. After a few successful outings, she saw herself in the news feeds and on television. She noticed the costume looked dated, so she made an updated version. 

On one of her outings, she ran across the Black Arachnid (II). They happened to be chasing the same crook, so they teamed up and caught the guy. They began teaming and training more often, then, after revealing their identities to one another, they began dating. So, to better match with Max, she designed a new costume and changed her code name. 

At times, they have teamed with Black Arachnid (2.0) and Black Arachness. As a group, they call themselves The Arachnids.

She is a nurse at a local hospital.

Djinna (Open Source)

Real Name: Carol Marie Banks

Origin/History 
Carol is a test subject of the Greys that had taken Black Arachness. After Black Arachness vowed to destroy the Greys, Carol was left abandoned, as were many of the Greys experiments.

She was found by Black Arachness in an unnammed town, inside an old abandoned gas station. After a small battle where Carol showed her powers, she was subdued by Black Arachnid 2.0 and taken to a government holding facility. 

While in custody, General Joseph Parsons (American General) located her family and had them brought to Carol. When her parents arrived, the monster inside her came out, as it did when it fought Black Arachness. The American General calls it a demon, but it reveals itself as a Djinn. It is discovered that the djinn is not under Carol's control and she is merely the vessel for it. (Think of her as a genie lamp.) The djinn explains that the Greys took his vessel, destroyed it, and bonded it to Carol's DNA. It then reveals it's name as Garuko. It is discussed to remove the vessel from Carol.

Some time later, a procedure is developed and put into place. While waiting, Carol and Garuko bond and learn they can communicate telepathically. 

Carol is put into a coma and the procedure begins. Something goes wrong and metal begins to form on her wrists and her vitals go wonky. She suddenly wakes up and is wearing Garuko's bracelets.

It is learned that Garuko did not survive the procedure and that he gave Carol his power.

Nothing is known about October Mask other than he just appeared sometime in the late 1800's and began eradicating magic into the modern world. No one knows who he is or where he came from.

• The Preternatural X-10 (commonly known as The Extinguisher of Magic or The X-10) - a sword imbued with anti-magic energies that can nullify and destabilize most if not all forms of magic and even destroy a magic user's capability to utilize magic. It is a large sword. It looks technological. It was given an A.I. intelligence that communicates telepathically with October Mask as if it were a person. It grants October Mask with enhanced abilities and shrouds his face to be whatever a magic-user fears. It is also bio-metrically linked to October Mask so only he can use it. October Mask can also call this blade back to his hand by thought. It was designed specifically destroy magic. If October Mask should die, the X-10 is able to find a new wielder on its own.

He appears as any police officer would have in 1944 USA. He has light brown hair and is fair skinned at an average height.
