Origin/History
Tetsuro is an autistic boy of 11 yrs old. His emotions are out of control (happy to angry in an eye blink). He is non-verbal and can become frustrated when he cannot communicate his need to someone. He is prone to ritualistic behavior.
Tetsuro was born in Japan. When he was around 1-1/2 yrs old, his behavior changed and he was diagnosed with autism. Around 5 yrs old, he developed the ability to control air, having that ability directly linked to his emotional state. After destroying his family's home, he was taken to a research facility. There, he was submitted through testing and was found to have an aptitude for technology and that his power is directly linked to his emotional state (the angrier he is, the more violent his air manipulation is). If he becomes too angry, he can create storms, hurricanes, and the like.
He is confined in a blast-proof glass "cell" where he is constantly monitored for his protection and the protection of others. He is well taken care of and his parents are with him always. The family receives a compensation. Studies on his conditions are used to help others.
Tetsuro also has the RH- factor in his blood.

Techno-Adept: able to work any piece of technology with some degree of success. This does not appear to be a super power, but rather a side-effect to his autism.

The above text is just a light back story, or set-up.
Story ideas for this character could have him utilized in extreme situations where is power would benefit the situation, or to have him always being pursued by aliens due to his RH- blood. Autistic children are aware of what is going on around them, they just cannot process the communication to express any response to it, they just react to a situation, much like instinct. He could also ward off kaiju (y'know, being based in Japan and all).
He cannot be placed in a suit with life support then placed in a vacuum, because when he became angry, he would just use the atmosphere in the suit, which would destroy the suit exposing him to vacuum, and ultimately kill him.
I found "bombogenesis" while reading a weather article, looked up what it meant and just rolled out this character.

Creator Notes
As a father of a severely autistic child, a situation like this where the child also would have a potentially dangerous power would be extremely frightening. The bursts of anger and rage that could cause devastating destruction on a grand scale are unimaginable. The emotions of an autistic child are uncontrollable and these bursts are a "let it ride out" thing. You just have to keep them and those around them safe until it passes. It's stressful and trying, but you have to take it for the sake of your child.
